need sleepy

the all-nighter went well. i got my paper and my spanish presentation done, and both of them turned out acceptably, i hope.

unfortunately i wasn’t able to sleep at all on wednesday, because after class i worked on finishing up my new song so i could play it at the coho. i also learned pedro’s “options” to cover.

the show itself didn’t go that well…i felt…tired. and it came out in the first 2 or 3 songs. i scrapped “options” after i sucked on the first few lines. plus we were running sound out of another guy’s system, which was very big and so it made me a little nervous. there were quite a few people there too. oh well. it made me resolve to actually practice my songs, because they are rather hard for me to play sometimes and i need to have them down before i do shows. i forget my lyrics a lot too. ah well, it was fun. i ran sound for mikey’s band ‘midget mosaic’. they played a 1.5hr set, so i was really tired by the end. they had me come up on one of their last songs and play lead guitar, and that was cool of them; they’re neat guys.

and now i’m at work for the last time this year, possibly ever (if i don’t have this job next fall). it was a good quarter. but i forgot to study for my final tomorrow, and i need to do that.
